Staying Independent, Safe and Well Roadshows

Throughout 2012 library visitors will have the chance to find out

about local services to help them stay independent, safe and well at a

series of roadshows that will be visiting libraries.

The roadshow will be at St Ives Library from 20th February to 17th

March. The full schedule of roadshows can be seen on the attached

poster.

Each roadshow will feature a display about staying independent, safe

and well available in the library for a four week period. On the final

Saturday of each event, demonstration sessions for people to see and

try Your Life, Your Choice Cambridgeshire's adult social care

information and advice website and AskSARA an online guide to

equipment to help people with daily living, will be taking place.

The demonstration sessions at St Ives Library will take place between

11.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday 17th March and is a drop-in event. In

addition on the morning of Friday 9th March the Assistive Technology

Team will be available in the library to tell people about equipment

and adaptations that could help them in their day-to-day lives.

A demonstration session is also taking place in Ramsey Library this

Saturday (18th February) between 9.30am and 12.30pm. Full details of

the demonstrations in other libraries will be advertised prior to each
